François Peccatte

PECCATTE, FRANÇOIS (1820 - 1856) was the younger brother of Dominique Peccatte, known as "Peccatte jeune". Born at Mirecourt in 1820, he was apprenticed to Vuillaume and established himself in Paris. He returned to Mirecourt 1843 and set up a workshop and Dominique joined him in 1847. In 1852 he moved to Paris to work for Vuillaume. His work is of the highest level, comparable with his brother.
