Carl Heinrich Knopf
CARL HEINRICH KNOPF (1839-1875), we proudly present a highlight in German bow making. CARL HEINRICH KNOPF trained with his father and also his uncle, Christian Friedrich Knopf. Carl Heinrich worked for the Bausch and Neuner shops, before establishing himself independently in Berlin in 1868. He was an outstanding maker who supplied many fine bows for the KITTEL shop in Petersburg, hence many of his bows bear the Kittel brand. This bow is in perfect condition.
